My band Glitterwølf has a new single out TODAY! Words Left Unsaid is a song very close to mine and my partner Mike Orvis' heart. We both have been through some pretty difficult and life changing circumstances in the last 5 years and this is our catharsis.

I joined Glitterwølf 3 years ago over the winter of 2019 after having been friends with Mike and his snake 🐍 of a former creative partner for a good year or two. Over the time that I wasn’t in the band, Mike and I became friends over the internet and our relationship grew. He was there for me significantly when I went through a very nasty breakup with an extremely abusive ex wife. Fortunately and unfortunately, the situation that Mike went through with his ex creative partner was eerily similar to the abuse that I endured for years at the hands of my pathological narcissist ex wife. Friendship is honestly an understatement for Mike and Graham, as they were brothers. I won’t go too much into detail as this isn’t my story to tell (ask Mike about it and he’ll spill the beans and has). Mike and I grew much closer over that time as we helped each other get through our respective traumas. After I had been helping Mike get back on his feet creatively for a few months, he asked me to officially become his partner in Glitterwølf. To which I, of course, enthusiastically said yes.

The process of us creating has been up and down, as there were lots of hurdles to overcome. Mike lives in Kent, UK and I live here in Corvallis, OR, USA. 8 time zones, 5028.01 miles, 8,091,802.9 meters, 8091.80 kilometers, a continent and an ocean stand between us. Thankfully, because of the modern world, these circumstances are the easiest things to overcome. Another thing that was a challenge was Mike’s lack of access to necessary equipment for us to make this track. His former partner, Graham, had ALL of their equipment and ALL of the files. They had nearly 2/3rds of an album complete when out of the blue Graham ghosted Mike after nearly a decade of friendship. That album is now lost to the ether. So a significant portion of the last 3 years has been getting Mike kitted up and ready to track. He had to acquire all his gear during the pandemic when both of us had been financially devastated by losing work.

It has been a long time coming since we released this single. Musically, it has been written almost completely for the last 8-10 months. Over this gap both Mike and I continued to deal with our own mental and emotional health struggles. My experiences have left me with a significant amount of difficulty functioning due to PTSD and Anxiety. Several family events last summer have also made the past year very difficult as well. Once we both felt like we were in a good place, we were able to give this song the attention it needs. It’s a truly beautiful song, with a beautiful message and IMO my best production and technical work to date. We are both extremely proud of our creation.

Glitterwølf have several other songs in various states of completion and now we both have the motivation to get our message out to the world. We are planning a full length release by the end of the year.

We would appreciate the support if you can listen, share it and if you like it, tell your friends! There will be more coming and it will be just as good. A gigantic thank you to my incredibly supportive wife Becca for always being there for me and giving me the love and support that I deserve, to my parents Ron and Joanne Thomson for always being supportive of my creativity and giving me the opportunities to explore myself and truly become who I am. To Michael Harrison Gamble and Dana Reason for teaching all the musical skills, I couldn't have made this without y’all. And to Mike, my best friend, my brother and my creative soulmate, this is just the start, now the wolfs are back and ready to be heard.

Give the track a spin and dance out all that shit you have to deal with. We'll be back soon with WAY more heat.
